Letting their imaginations soar
In an environment surrounded by games, stuffed animals, toys and tools—kids will design and engineer hard and soft toys while learning about materials, safety considerations and true value of play.
Toy Design 2 (Toy D2)
Our budding toy/game designers create their own game or toy while gaining an understanding of the ‘play’ element in the toys and games they encounter in their lives. They will learn skills in geometry, planning and visualizing in 3D form and get comfortable with tools used in the construction of harder materials. Kids get to proudly display their creations at the Toy Expo at the end of the session.
Toy Design 1 (Toy D1)
Budding toy designers and makers learn how to turn their own unique design from a sketch into a furry, funny or fiery plush creation. Students will learn how to use and adapt patterns, develop practical skills in cutting, pinning, hand & machine sewing and gain a valuable understanding of the product design and development process.
