In this second level fashion design course, that helps build confidence and independence on sewing machines, students learn how to design and construct a slightly more complex project, a Top, that could also be made into a tunic — learning to sew curves, use bias tapes and exploring other fun construction techniques. They will learn about sustainability in the fashion industry, our fashion choices and its impact on the planet while learning to creatively reuse and re-purpose fabrics and textiles from T-shirts, jeans etc transforming them into stylish accessories.
